Rewind with Ellen<\/strong><\/a> hosts Ellen J. Wanjiru<\/em> and Roug\u00e9t Carter<\/em> discuss crime thriller “Respect the Jux”<\/em><\/strong> written and directed by G.H. Goba<\/strong> and executive produced by Pusha T<\/strong>. The film, based on true events, tells the story of Cat (Jaime Lincoln Smith)<\/strong> \u2014 a corrupted young man that ventures to the United States in quest of the American dream which he finds doesn\u2019t exist. After attempting to accomplish his mission for wealth in accordance to what is considered the right way, he finds himself impoverished and in despair. Soon he is triggered and returns to his old ways and sparks the drama between friends, enemies, lover, cops, and robbers. Looking for a solution and an out to his problems, Cat forms the gang he once belonged to in his home country with one thing in mind, obtaining wealth. “Respect the Jux”<\/em><\/strong> is the age-old struggle between the good, the bad, betrayal, love, and success.
