BET’S<\/strong>\u00a0new original series\u00a0“Haus\u00a0of\u00a0Vicious”<\/strong>\u00a0premiered on\u00a0Wednesday, August 17\u00a0<\/strong>at\u00a08 PM ET\/PT<\/strong>.\u00a0From creator\u00a0Jill Ramsey<\/strong>, the eight-episode first season follows\u00a0Tami Roman\u2019s<\/strong> character Chantel Vivian, a fashion designer who’s success is overshadowed by her narcissistic husband, addiction, unresolved childhood traumas, and dysfunctional personal life. With the assistance\u00a0of\u00a0her secret weapon, Jaelyn Ryan (Erica Peeples<\/strong>), publicist to her\u00a0Vicious\u00a0Empire, Chantel works to rise through the ranks, but her husband Kane\u2019s (Redaric Williams<\/strong>) behavior threatens to tear down the house she built. Industry veteran\u00a0Kim Fields<\/strong>\u00a0directed all eight episodes. EPISODE 1 SYNOPSIS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The world\u2019s who\u2019s-who are all over the city for New York Fashion Week. Chantel has finally broken fashion ground and stepped onto the prominent runway. While she may be on top of her career, the marriage to her narcissitic and cheating husband, Kane Livingston, is on the rocks. No match for Kane, Chantel is emotionally manipulated and forced to wear the blame. The episode ends with Chantel back in her glam-studio and snatching off her wig. Her hairstylist, Raven eases into the studio to give Chantel more than just a bag of cocaine.
