Nevertheless,\u2018Dark of the Moon\u2019 is a slight improvement over the last film, and one can only go into seeing it as mindless fun.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-9793\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/2011\/07\/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-film-review\/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-1-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-9793\" title=\"Transformers Dark of the Moon 1\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 200'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Transformers-Dark-of-the-Moon-1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once again, the Decepticons are up no good and it\u2019s up to Sam Witwicky (played by Shia LaBeouf) and his trusted Autobots to work together and stop them before mayhem ensues.<\/p>\n<p>Now that he\u2019s being awarded the Medal of Honor from President Obama, life should be great for Sam. After all, he has saved the world more than once already. Instead of just basking in the glory, Sam is still in his new girlfriend, Carly Spencer\u2019s (played by Huntington-Whiteley) place and struggling to find a job. Even when his parents, who are living the life and cruising around the world, are disappointed that Sam has wasted his potential so far.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-9794\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/2011\/07\/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-film-review\/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-15-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignleft size-medium wp-image-9794\" title=\"Transformers Dark of the Moon 15\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 125'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Transformers-Dark-of-the-Moon-15-300x125.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"125\" \/><\/a>Meanwhile, while several Autobots are scattered around the world protecting from their common enemy, the Decepticons are busy laying a trap for Optimus Prime that will get closer to their goal of destroying mankind.<\/p>\n<p>When it turns out the initial mission to the moon was to retrieve some artifacts left from the wreckage of the Autobots\/ Decepticons war, the legendary Buzz Aldrin is brought back in to explain what they saw and found. Before you know it, Optimus Prime fills in the rest of the mystery to the artifact found and he\u2019s able to revive his old mentor and original leader of the Prime, Sentinel Prime.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-9795\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/2011\/07\/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-film-review\/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-25-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-9795\" title=\"Transformers Dark of the Moon 25\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 126'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Transformers-Dark-of-the-Moon-25-300x126.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"126\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With Sentinel Prime on US soil, the trap laid for Optimus works, and the Decepticons plan to bring their world to Earth and have the humans work as slaves.<\/p>\n<p>With Michael Bay, one is never going to get perfection. You don\u2019t go into his films and expects Shakespeare like performances. He\u2019s a visual storyteller with lots of action and effects and that\u2019s what he does best. It may be sometimes over-the-top, but Transformers 3 on 3D delivers.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-9796\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/2011\/07\/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-film-review\/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-10-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignleft size-medium wp-image-9796\" title=\"Transformers Dark of the Moon 10\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 123'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Transformers-Dark-of-the-Moon-10-300x123.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"123\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While it\u2019s good to bring back familiar actors like <strong>Shia LaBeouf, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, and Tyrese Gibson<\/strong>, it\u2019s the voiceover work of the Autobots and Decepticons audiences want to see. One can\u2019t make much out of Huntington-Whiteley\u2019s acting. As a replacement to Megan Fox, she holds her own with LaBeouf. She&#8217;s not blame her when Bay chooses a couple of scenes to highlight her beauty, but that\u2019s the point of casting her. He wasn\u2019t looking at actresses who went to the Royal School of Dramatic Arts.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-9797\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/2011\/07\/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-film-review\/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-27-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-9797\" title=\"Transformers Dark of the Moon 27\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 126'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Transformers-Dark-of-the-Moon-27-300x126.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"126\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Actors like Turturro, <strong>John Malkovich<\/strong>, <strong>Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey, Alan Tudyk<\/strong>,and <strong>Frances McDormand<\/strong> have been in better films, but this one gives them something to look back and say that they let themselves be a big commercial film. It\u2019s good to see Dempsey, playing Carly\u2019s boss Dylan Gould, on the big screen. He looked like he had more fun on the set than he does on his day job, TV\u2019s \u2018Grey\u2019s Anatomy.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Dark of the Moon\u2019 is certainly preposterous when it comes to plots and continuity, but just like \u2018Pirates of the Caribbean\u2019 films, we go for the excitement of seeing it, even if we are taking one for the team. We expect plenty of actions, dumb dialogue, and a large popcorn and soda.<br \/>\n<object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"580\" height=\"349\" codebase=\"https:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/v\/-mAEb7S0mhg?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"580\" height=\"349\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/v\/-mAEb7S0mhg?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\"
