A Brooklyn man\u2018s three day journey through New York\u2018s central booking jail system, infamously known as “The Tombs” and the interesting personalities he encounters while locked up. The primary functions of Central Booking are the processing, admission, and cellblock lodging of persons under arrest where prisoner intake is conducted and photographs & fingerprints are taken.<\/p>\n

Tickets go on sale Sept 1st. at the theater box office AMC 34th street and Broadway.<\/p>\n

About the director Jerry Lamothe:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since founding Tru Life Films in 2000 and releasing his debut award winning film \u201cAmour Infinity<\/strong>“, which he wrote, directed and starred in for $45,000, the film is regarded by many as an underground cult classic. He has since gone on to build a very distinctive body of work.<\/p>\n

Following in the footsteps of his directorial debut “Amour Infinity<\/strong>“, which won numerous film festivals including the Atlanta Independent and the Hollywood Black Film Festival, in 2006 Lamothe wrote\/directed and produced the independent film, “Blackout<\/strong>\u201d. The film boasted an impressive ensemble which included Jeffrey Wright, Zoe Saldana, Saul Rubinek, Jamie Hector, Latanya Richardson-Jackson<\/strong> and film maverick, Melvin Van Peebles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Blackout premiered and was an official selection at the 2007 Tribeca film festival. Several festival appearances would follow, including the Chicago International film festival and the Zurich international film festival. Lamothe also is preparing to go into pre-production on another independent feature entitled \u201cSuspect of St. Marks Place<\/strong>\u201d. A gritty action crime drama, which once again pairs him with Jamie Hector<\/strong> (Heroes) and Moritz Bleibtreu<\/strong> (Run Lola Run).<\/p>\n
