Tyler Perry<\/strong> will be bringing his first Holiday play A Madea Christmas<\/strong> to DVD, Blu-ray Disc, Digital Download and On Demand on November 22nd just in time to kick off the holiday season!<\/p>\n

Fresh off of three stage performances in Atlanta, the story follows the wealthy, dysfunctional Mansell family as they clash with Madea (Perry) and her relatives during the holidays. It is left up to the hilarious Madea to save this Christmas, turn around the drama and amp up the comedy! The play features musical numbers written by Perry and stars a number of fan favorites including Cheryl Pepsii Riley<\/strong> (Madea\u2018s Big Happy Family), Chandra Currelley-Young<\/strong> (Diary of a Mad Black Woman) and Cassi Davis<\/strong> (TV\u2019s \u201cHouse of Payne\u201d). Newcomer Patrice Lovely<\/strong> as Hattie will knock your socks off with her unforgettably hilarious performance.<\/p>\n

Tyler Perry\u2019s A Madea Christmas<\/strong> (The Play) features behind-the-scenes interviews and bloopers. The release will coincide with the DVD debut of Tyler Perry\u2019s Meet the Browns: Season 3 <\/strong>on the same day.<\/p>\n

When a wealthy family meets for Christmas at their posh Cape Cod estate, family arguments and secrets cause quite a stir. It takes a real down-to-earth family \u2013 like Aunt Bam and the almighty Madea \u2013 to save this holiday and make it into a foot-stomping good time.<\/p>\n
