As Lee Daniels<\/strong> is in Cannes showcasing his latest film, ‘The Paperboy,’<\/strong> it was revealed that singer-actor Lenny Kravitz<\/strong> is among the actors added to his next film, ‘The Butler,’ <\/strong>Deadline.com reports.<\/p>\n

Matthew McConaughey<\/strong>, who\u2019s also in The Paperboy, will play JFK, Alan Rickman<\/strong> and Jane Fonda<\/strong> as Ronald and Nancy Reagan, and John Cusack<\/strong> as Nixon? Icon UK Group has signed to be part of the film. The picture will star Forest Whitaker<\/strong> and Oprah Winfrey<\/strong> in the true story of Eugene Allen<\/strong>, the White House butler who served eight American presidents, observed the civil rights movement, and was brought back after he retired to witness the inauguration of the country\u2019s first black president, Barack Obama.<\/p>\n

Also included in the cast are Cuba Gooding Jr, David Oyelowo, Lenny Kravitz<\/strong> and Terrence Howard<\/strong>. Danny Strong<\/strong> wrote the script with Daniels based on Wil Haygood\u2019s Washington Post article.<\/p>\n

Kravitz, who was recently in \u2018Hunger Games,\u2019<\/strong> previously worked with Daniels on the Oscar nominated film, \u2018Precious.\u2019 <\/strong><\/p>\n
