The film opens on March 15, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency Call Center Operator Jordan (Halle Berry) takes a call from a teenage girl, Casey (Abigail Breslin), who has been abducted and carried away in the trunk of a car. The kidnapping plays out in real time as Jordan and Casey work together to track down the killer in this high stakes thriller.<\/p>\n<p>Otunga plays Officer Devans, a Los Angeles cop who works hand-in-hand with Jordan to find the kidnapper. The Chicago native also happens to be the husband of singer and actress <strong>Jennifer Hudson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/The-Call-logo.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload aligncenter size-full wp-image-34027\" title=\"The Call logo\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 580 313'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/The-Call-logo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"580\" height=\"313\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Directed by<strong> Brad Anderson <\/strong>(The Machinist, Transsiberian), the film was written by <strong>Rich D\u2019Ovidio<\/strong> (Exit Wounds, Thir13en Ghosts) and based upon a story by Rich D\u2019Ovidio, <strong>Nicole D\u2019Ovidio<\/strong> and<strong> Jon Bokencamp<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Call is being produced by Troika Pictures\u2019 <strong>Michael Helfant, Robert Stein<\/strong> and <strong>Bradley Gallo<\/strong>, WWE Studios\u2019 <strong>Michael Luisi<\/strong> and <strong>Jeff Graup<\/strong>. <strong>William Gallo, Philip M.
