Last night at the BET Awards, the cast of Malcolm D. Lee<\/strong>‘s The Best Man Holiday<\/strong> reunited on stage and show a TV Spot from the upcoming film.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

After nearly 15 years apart, Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Morris Chestnut, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Monica Calhoun, Melissa De Sousa<\/strong> and Regina Hall <\/strong>reprise their career-launching roles in the next chapter to the film that ushered in a new era of comedy. When the college friends finally reunite over the Christmas holidays, they will discover just how easy it is for long-forgotten rivalries and romances to be ignited.<\/p>\n

Lee told Blackfilm.com a\u00a0 while back, \u201cPeople have often asked \u201cWhatever happened to those characters? Did Jordan ever find a man? Does Murch stay with Candy? Do Lance and Mia live happily ever after?\u201d I have never really taken the time to answer those questions. But they keep getting asked and in light of how it is in heavy rotation on cable TV it very well may be a sign that those questions need to be answered.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also added to the cast are Eddie Cibrian, and singers Anthony Hamilton and Marsha Ambrosius.<\/p>\n

The Best Man Holiday hits theaters on November 15. <\/strong><\/p>\n

“Well, I didn’t audition, which means nothing except for in that moment, because we all have to go out and fight for what we want. You can get an offer one day, and do ten auditions the next day, it just depends on the project. But I think it was a time in my career, it was Love Jones<\/em>, it was Soul Food<\/em>, and in Soul Food<\/em>, there was a lot going on, but I read the script (for The Best Man<\/em>), I loved the script, and I met with Malcolm, I liked Malcolm, we had lunch in some place in New York, and pretty much after that it was a done deal. Jordan was a different character for me to play, because she was sort of buttoned up, uptight, very business, and playing her again and seeing how she’s grown was great because this is what all of you women experience. You see yourself at a certain age and then you evolve your careers, you’re starting to have children, you’re starting to deal with relationships, and we all realize that we’re all going through the same stuff. That’s what’s so great about this film, because with each one of these characters, somebody in this audience can relate to them. That’s why they loved it the first time, and hopefully, this time, as we the characters have matured and gotten more successful, or not, and having children, that you’ll feel the same way.”<\/p>\n
