Gluck is producing with <strong>James Lassiter, Will Smith<\/strong> and <strong>Jada Pinkett Smith, Shawn Carter<\/strong> aka <strong>Jay Z, Jay Brown<\/strong> and <strong>Tyran Smith<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Quvenzhan\u00e9-Wallis-Annie.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-38634\" title=\"Quvenzhan\u00e9 Wallis Annie\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 172'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Quvenzhan\u00e9-Wallis-Annie-300x172.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"172\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Tony Award-winning stage musical Annie has previously been filmed twice, the first time in 1982 with John Huston in the director&#8217;s chair and later in a made-for-TV adaptation produced by Disney and helmed by CHICAGO director Rob Marshall in 1999. Annie is currently playing on Broadway in a James Lapine-directed revival starring Lilla Crawford and Anthony Warlow.<\/p>\n<p>Akinnuoye-Agbaje will also appear in <strong>THOR: THE DARK WORLD<\/strong>, Paul W.S. Anderson&#8217;s <strong>POMPEII<\/strong>, and has previously been seen in <strong>G.I. JOE: THE ROSE OF COBRA, BULLET TO THE HEAD<\/strong>, J.J.
