The show aired on The CW Network at 8:00PM ET\/PT and was hosted by <strong>Aisha Tyler<\/strong>. A live pre-show aired in various local markets before the awards ceremony.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/CCMA-Alfonso-Cuaron.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignleft size-medium wp-image-49248\" title=\"CCMA Alfonso Cuaron\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 199 300'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/CCMA-Alfonso-Cuaron-199x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cGravity\u201d<\/strong> garnered seven wins for Best Director for <strong>Alfonso Cuar\u00f3n<\/strong>, Best Cinematography to <strong>Emmanuel Lubezki<\/strong>, Best Visual Effects, Best Editing to <strong>Alfonso Cuar\u00f3n and Mark Sanger<\/strong>, Best Actress in An Action Movie for <strong>Sandra Bullock<\/strong>, Best Sci-Fi\/Horror Movie and Best Score to <strong>Steven Price<\/strong>. The award for Best Actress went to <strong>Cate Blanchett<\/strong> (\u201cBlue Jasmine\u201d) and <strong>Adele Exarchopoulos<\/strong> (\u201cBlue is the Warmest Color\u201d) took home Best Young Actress.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leonardo DiCaprio<\/strong> took home an award for his role in \u201cThe Wolf of Wall Street\u201d as Best Actor in a Comedy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cFrozen\u201d <\/strong>was awarded Best Animated Feature and Best Song for \u201c<strong>Let It Go<\/strong>.\u201d Two awards also went to <strong>\u201cLone Survivor\u201d<\/strong> for Best Action Movie and Best Actor in an Action Movie for Mark Wahlberg. The BFCA is the largest film critics organization in the United States and Canada, representing more than 280 television, radio and online critics.  BFCA members are the primary source of information for today\u2019s film going public.  Eligible films were released in 2013.
