\"John<\/a>According to The Hollywood Report’s Borys Kit<\/a><\/strong>, Attack the Block’s John Boyeg<\/strong>a is being consider for Terminator: Genesis<\/strong> in the role of the son of Miles Dyson, the Cyberdyne engineer largely responsible for the birth of Skynet.<\/p>\n

Joe Morton<\/strong> played Dyson in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. According to Wikipedia<\/a>, <\/strong>“Doctor Miles Bennett Dyson was the original inventor of the neural-net processor<\/a> which would lead to the development of Skynet<\/a>, a computer A.I. intended to control electronically linked weapons and defend the United States, but which would later seize control of the world and launch a global war of extermination against humanity. He was the man most directly responsible for Judgment Day<\/a>, although his work was clearly not intended to bring about that, and Dyson was visibly distraught and disgusted to learn of the Rise of the Machines.<\/p>\n

\"ARNOLD<\/a>Miles was married to Tarissa Dyson<\/a>, with whom he had two children, Danny<\/a> and Blythe<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

Alan Taylor<\/strong> is directing the first of a stand alone trilogy with Jason Clarke as John Connor<\/strong>, Game Of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor<\/strong>, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese. <\/strong>J.K. Simmons is also in the film as, according to THR<\/a>, “a weary and alcoholic detective who has followed a bizarre case involving Sarah Connor and robots for more than three decades.”<\/p>\n

Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/strong> will also return in his iconic role.<\/p>\n

\"Terminator<\/a>Boyega is in hot demand these days, having\u00a0landing the role of Jesse Owens<\/strong> in the biopic Race. <\/strong>The British actor <\/strong>has also been added to the cast of Fox\u2019s event series \u201c24: Live Another Day\u201d <\/strong>in a recurring role. He will later be seen opposite Chiwetel Ejiofor<\/strong> and Thandie Newton<\/strong> in ‘Half of a Yellow Sun<\/strong>.’ He also starred in the Sundance film, ‘Imperial Dreams,’<\/strong> which won the Audience Award. Most recently, he was named among top candidates for a lead role in J.J. Abrams\u2019 Star Wars: Episode VII.<\/strong>

Skydance will finance Terminator: Genesis<\/strong> along with the studio with David Ellison<\/strong> producing for Skydance. Laeta Kalogridis<\/strong> and Patrick Lussier<\/strong> co-wrote the script. Paramount will distribute the film.<\/p>\n
