\"Kyle<\/a>Actor Kyle Massey<\/b> has been cast in a recurring role in the hit BET drama series \u201cBeing Mary Jane.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

In the show, Kyle will play \u2018Cameron,\u201d the young, swaggering, out-of-touch father of Niecy\u2019s baby, Treyvion, who transfers to a local college when his scholarship money runs out.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing Mary Jane\u201d tells the story of a successful, highly driven TV news anchor and her struggle to balance work, life and her unmotivated family. The series was created by Mara Brock Akil<\/strong> (\u201cThe Game\u201d) and stars\u00a0Gabrielle Union<\/strong> as the title character, Omari Hardwick, <\/strong>and Lisa Vidal<\/strong>. The series premiere garnered more than four million viewers, marking a success for the cable network. Season two is currently in production.<\/p>\n

\"Being<\/a>Massey<\/b> can next be seen in the lead role of \u2018Andy\u2019 in the upcoming film, Senior Project<\/i><\/strong>, an indie comedy about five teenagers who cram a year-long senior project into one last crazy weekend, written by 16-year-old secondary student, Jeremy Lin. The movie also stars Sterling Beaumon, Margaret Cho, Meaghan Martin<\/strong> and Vanessa Marano<\/strong>. Kyle recently wrapped a lead role in the independent feature, Lowlifes<\/i><\/strong>. The movie also stars Boo Boo Stewart<\/strong> (Twilight<\/i>) and is written and directed by Robin Christian<\/strong>. It tells the story of troubled teens in a 2nd<\/sup> chance ‘boot camp’ program that encounter a group of terrorists trying to take out a rural nuclear power plant. Stuck in a remote area with no skills or communication to the outside world, the teens find they are the only thing that can stop a nuclear threat. The movie is set to release December 2014.<\/p>\n

Kyle currently voices \u2018Milo\u2019 in the popular Disney Channel animated series \u201cFish Hooks.\u201d<\/strong> He is best known for his role on the hit Disney Channel series, \u201cCory in the House<\/strong>,\u2019 and \u201cThat\u2019s So Raven<\/strong>.\u201d He has also built a national following as a fan-favorite alum from the hit series \u201cDancing With The Stars<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n
