Jones\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 225'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Kiara-C.-Jones-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Among the five short films selected as finalists was producer-director <strong>Kiara C. Jones&#8217; The Other Side of the Game<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A filmmaker living in New York, Jones&#8217; films explore the current condition of womanhood and she strives to give voice to underrepresented characters in cinema.
