Running from June 19-22, the festival will be making New York its home after being in Miami the last five years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spike Lee<\/strong>&#8216;s Kickstarter-funded project, <strong>Da Sweet Blood Of Jesus<\/strong>, will be making its world premiere to close out the festival on June 22.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/TLAM-2-poster.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-49944\" alt=\"TLAM 2 poster\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 202 300'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/TLAM-2-poster-202x300.jpg\" width=\"202\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>In the highly anticipated sequel, which was inspired by Steve Harvey\u2019s best-selling book Act Like a Lady, Think Like A Man, all the couples are back for a wedding in Las Vegas. But plans for a romantic weekend go awry when their various misadventures get them into some compromising situations that threaten to derail the big event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToo\u201d basically picks up where the first film left off, happily ever after for all the fine couples involved. Michael (Terrence Jenkins) and Candace (Regina Hall) are getting married and have decided to have their bachelor and bachelorette parties on the same weekend in Las Vegas. Great idea, right? Then everyone can make bad decisions together. Funny, Sexy and Bloody. A new kind of love story (and not a remake of &#8220;Blacula&#8221;).&#8221; The film stars <strong>The Wire&#8217;s Michael K. Davis plays Brown\u2019s mother while Spencer his Aunt Honey.
