Throughout their marriage, their were several highs and lows as the couple dealt with fame and fortune.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Whitney-Houston-and-Bobby-Brown.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-53399\" alt=\"Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 224'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Whitney-Houston-and-Bobby-Brown-300x224.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><strong>&#8216;Whitney Houston&#8217;<\/strong> will be produced by the Sanitsky Company. <strong>Larry Sanitsky<\/strong>, who worked with Bassett on the Lifetime film &#8216;Betty and Coretta,&#8217; will serve as the executive producer. <strong>Shem Bitterman, <\/strong>who wrote &#8216;Coretta&#8217; is onboard as the screenwriter.<\/p>\n<p>Bassett and Houston starred together in <strong>Forest Whitaker<\/strong>&#8216;s critically acclaimed 1995 film, &#8216; Waiting to Exhale.&#8217; They were expected to do a follow-up to the film until Houston died on February 11, 2012 in her hotel room in Los Angeles.
