Synopsis: A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.<\/p>\n

In collaboration with Motherboard (VICE’s science and tech channel), 20th Century Fox has created a few short films to explain the 10 years after Rise of the Planet of the Apes<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first short is called, “SPREAD OF SIMIAN FLU: BEFORE THE DAWN OF THE APES (YEAR 1)<\/strong>,” directed by Isaiah Seret.<\/p>\n

Synopsis:<\/strong> Amidst a widespread viral outbreak known as the ‘Simian Flu’, a mother is quarantined after testing positive for the virus, leaving her husband and daughter to fend for themselves.<\/p>\n
