Deadline<\/a> is reporting that Brooklyn Sudano<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and Stephen Bishop\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>has booked lead roles in Lifetime\u2019s original movie With This Ring<\/strong>, joining Jill Scott, Regina Hall<\/strong>, and Eve<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Written and directed by Nzingha Stewart<\/strong>, the romantic comedy centers on three single best friends (Scott, Hall, and Eve) who attend the lavish wedding of a fourth on New Year\u2019s Eve and desperation pushes them to make the vow to be married within the year. Each woman starts the year with hopes of what will happen over the next 12 months, but will they all make it to the altar?<\/p>\n

Sudano will play Elise, the bride-to-be getting married who relies on her best friends to get her down the aisle when she gets a little case of cold feet. Bishop will play Dr. Sean Braswell, a handsome, successful plastic surgeon who is a good man and father to Viviane\u2019s (Jill Scott) 8-year-old son, Cory.<\/p>\n

Producing the film are Sony Pictures Television and executive producers Tracey Edmonds, Sheila Ducksworth<\/strong> (Soul Food) and Gabrielle Union<\/strong> (Being Mary Jane).<\/p>\n

Sudano is the daughter of disco\u00a0legend Donna Summer<\/strong> and singer\/songwriter Bruce Sudano<\/strong>. She is best known for playing the role of Vanessa Scott on the ABC sitcom My Wife And Kids <\/a>and Felicia on the TV series Cuts. The Los Angeles native made her feature film debut in 2007’s Rain<\/strong>, an adaptation of the V.C. Andrews best seller.<\/p>\n

Bishop currently stars opposite Gabrielle Union<\/strong> in BET’s Being Mary Jane<\/strong>. He\u2019s been working in the TV and film world for some time, with appearances in TV\u2019s \u2018Girlfriends<\/strong>,\u2019 \u2018Brothers and Sisters<\/strong>,\u2019 \u2018Hancock<\/strong>\u2019 and \u2018The Town<\/strong>.\u2019 He played David Justice is the Brad Pitt<\/strong> film ‘Moneyball.<\/strong>‘<\/p>\n
