With production ready to wrapped on\u00a0Jean-Claude LaMarre<\/strong>\u2018s male stripper film,\u00a0\u2018Chocolate City,\u2019 <\/strong>Blackfilm.com has learned that Vivica A. Fox, DeRay Davis, Carmen Electra, Darrin DeWitt Henson, Robert Ri’chard, <\/strong>and\u00a0Ginuwine <\/strong>are also part of the film.<\/p>\n

The story follows a young man’s immersion in the world of the exotic male dancer. His star quickly rises and he becomes the main attraction of the club – Chocolate City.\u00a0The film is being seen as the urban version of\u00a0\u201cMagic Mike<\/strong>.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Already announced were\u00a0rapper-actor\u00a0Romeo Miller<\/strong>, AKA Lil\u2019 Romeo, in the lead role, along with\u00a0Michael Jai White,\u00a0<\/strong>Tyson Beckford, <\/strong>and\u00a0Eurika Pratts.\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Miller will play Devin, a young college student who\u2019s lured into the world of male exotic dancing to pay the bills.\u00a0White will play owner of a male strip club who convinces Devin to give amateur night a whirl, while Beckford plays Adrian, the club\u2019s former star attraction who finds his popularity fading as the new kid starts to steal the spotlight.\u00a0Pratts\u00a0is Carmen, Devin\u2019s girlfriend who has issues with his new career.<\/p>\n

\"Romeo<\/a><\/p>\n

Fox plays Devin’s mom, struggling with the bills at home, while\u00a0Davis plays his older brother and set the comedic tone for the movie.\u00a0Carmen Electra plays the resident DJ at the club.\u00a0Genuine plays one of the featured dancers at the club who gives the manager an ultumatum -” pay me more or I’ll dance at another club.”\u00a0Dewitt Henson plays another dancer who is reshuffled in the roster, to make room for a new young star, played by\u00a0Ri’chard.<\/p>\n

LaMarre will produce the film through his Nulite production company along with actor\u00a0Gabriel Casseus, Robert Aaronson<\/strong>, and\u00a0Rozina Negusei<\/strong>\u00a0of Zanar Entertainment.<\/p>\n
