Moguldom Studios<\/strong> is set to release their latest buzz-worthy docutainment film, which is one of the most talked about hot topics, Bleaching Black Culture<\/strong>, a film that dives deep into the recent controversial discussion of America\u2019s black cultural appropriation, and the lack of credit given, essentially, engaging in a complicit effort of theft and passing on as their own (RE: Miley Cyrus with Twerking and Iggy Azelea\/J.Lo with the Big Booty Phenomenon) and its effects on the African American community. The film is scheduled to be released via DVD and digital download on October 21, 2014.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Moguldom Studio, known for their revolutionary style of documentaries called \u201cdocutainment,\u201d is leading the way in producing non-theatrical films through digital networks by keeping at the pulse of trending topics that are relevant in today\u2019s ever-evolving world.<\/p>\n

In Bleaching Black Culture<\/strong>, Moguldom Studios examines how African Americans have played an integral role in molding American culture. From the birth of jazz to the evolution of hip hop; the advents of urban trends to transformative advances in technology. Unfortunately, we tend to not be the beneficiaries of our own innovation.<\/p>\n

The imprint of cultural theft has a long legacy, and this power of influence in music, sports, fashion and art translates into millions of dollars for our country. So, if the African\u00adAmerican community is the cultural architect, why are we still outside of the building begging to get in? Cultural branding has not only helped to exploit the hip\u00adhop community along with other forms of black art, but it\u2019s managed to monetize off of black marginalization.<\/p>\n

Currently, the Rhythm and Blues (R&B) billboard chart, a genre developed for the African American voice, is dominated with the likes of Robin Thicke, Justin Bieber, and Adele. Perhaps, it\u2019s easier to sell black art when it\u2019s masked in \u201cwhite face.\u201d Yet the argument with the latter comes from the 2013 African American consumer report. It shows black buying power rising from its current astonishing $1 trillion level to a forecasted $1.3 trillion by 2017.<\/p>\n

Since the African American community is the number one consumer, it begs to ask \u2013 can we take ownership of our cultural influence and convert our buying power into economic capital? Or, with the appropriation of black culture becoming more and more exploitive and lucrative, is admiration the new bastardization?<\/p>\n

“The influence of Black culture in America is overwhelming.
