Emmy-nominated Scandal star Kerry Washington<\/strong>is in talks to star in the Warner Bros. thriller \u201cUnforgettable,\u201d which will be directed by Belle director Amma Asante<\/strong>, states Variety.<\/p>\n

The centers on a man whose new wife is menaced by his ex-wife.<\/p>\n

Christina Hodson is writing the script with Denise DiNov<\/strong>i producing the film with partner Alison Greenspan.<\/p>\n

Asante, whose \u2018Belle\u2019 film\u00a0 was released earlier this year, was selected as one of Variety\u2019s 10 Directors to Watch in 2013, while Washington last appeared in Tina Gordon Chism\u2019s \u201cPeeples.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Update:<\/strong> Deadline<\/a> is reporting that Kate Hudson will play the other female lead. She recently wrapped Barry Levinson\u2019s Rock The Kasbah<\/em> opposite Bill Murray, Zooey Deschanel and Bruce Willis.<\/p>\n
