20th Century Fox has released\u00a0a Valentine’s Day\u00a0trailer to director George Tillman Jr.’s <\/strong>The Longest Ride<\/strong>, an adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks<\/strong> novel<\/p>\n

Starring Britt Robertson, Scott Eastwood, Jack Huston, Oona Chaplin<\/strong>, and Alan Alda<\/strong>, THE LONGEST RIDE centers on the star-crossed love affair between Luke, a former champion bull rider looking to make a comeback, and Sophia, a college student who is about to embark upon her dream job in New York City\u2019s art world. As conflicting paths and ideals test their relationship, Sophia and Luke make an unexpected connection with Ira, whose memories of his own decades-long romance with his beloved wife deeply inspire the young couple. Spanning generations and two intertwining love stories, THE LONGEST RIDE explores the challenges and infinite rewards of enduring love.<\/p>\n

Adapting the script from the novel is Craig Bolotin<\/strong> with Temple Hill\u2019s Marty Bowen<\/strong> and Wyck Godfrey<\/strong> producing the film.<\/p>\n

Tillman last directed the indie drama The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete<\/strong>, featuring Jennifer Hudson<\/strong> and Anthony Mackie<\/strong>. Among his other credits are 1997\u2019s Soul Food<\/strong>, 2000\u2019s Men of Honor<\/strong>, the Notorious B.I.G. bio-pic Notorious<\/strong>, and the Dwayne Johnson action movie Faster<\/strong>. He also directed two episodes of the hit Starz TV series, Power<\/strong>, which stars Omari Hardwick<\/strong> and Naturi Naughton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“The Longest Ride” hits theaters on April 10, 2015.<\/strong><\/p>\n
