New Line Cinema and Village Roadshow Pictures\u2019 have released a new trailer to action-thriller San Andreas<\/strong>, which reunites Dwayne Johnson <\/strong>with director Brad Peyton <\/strong>and producer Beau Flynn<\/strong>, following their collaboration on the global hit \u201cJourney 2: The Mysterious Island.\u201d <\/strong>The film will hit theaters on May 29, 2015.<\/p>\n

After the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Johnson) and his estranged wife make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter. But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning, and when they think the worst may be over\u2026it\u2019s just getting started.<\/p>\n

\"Dwayne<\/a><\/p>\n

San Andreas also stars Carla Gugino, Kylie Minogue, Alexandra Daddario, Ioan Gruffudd, Archie Panjabi, Hugo Johnstone-Burt<\/strong> and Art Parkinson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSan Andreas\u201d is produced by Beau Flynn (\u201cHercules,\u201d \u201cJourney 2: The Mysterious Island\u201d). Tripp Vinson (\u201cRed Dawn\u201d) also serves as producer. Richard Brener, Samuel J. Brown, Michael Disco, Rob Cowan, and Bruce Berman are the executive producers, and Hiram Garcia is co-producer. The screenplay is by Carlton Cuse, story by Andre Fabrizio & Jeremy Passmore.<\/p>\n

The creative filmmaking team includes director of photography Steve Yedlin (\u201cLooper\u201d), production designer Barry Chusid (\u201cThe Day After Tomorrow\u201d), editor Bob Ducsay (upcoming \u201cGodzilla\u201d), VFX producer Randall Starr (upcoming \u201cInto the Storm\u201d), VFX supervisor Colin Strause (\u201cThe Avengers\u201d), and costume designer Wendy Chuck (\u201cTwilight<\/p>\n
