Lionsgate has released five “Loter\u00eda Card” Posters, paying homage to traditional Loter\u00eda cards – the Latin game that originated in Mexico. The cards feature members of the incredible cast including Golden Globe Award winner Emily Blunt<\/strong>, Academy Award winner Benicio del Toro<\/strong>, Academy Award nominee Josh Brolin<\/strong> along with other images that capture the themes of SICARIO<\/strong>, which was directed by the critically-acclaimed Denis Villeneuve<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The crime drama opens in limited release on September 18th and expands wide on September 25th.<\/p>\n

The film stars Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, Jon Bernthal, Josh Brolin, Jeffrey Donovan, Sarah Minnich, Raoul Trujillo<\/strong>, and Maximiliano Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In Mexico, SICARIO means hitman.<\/p>\n

In the lawless border area stretching between the U.S. and Mexico, an idealistic FBI agent [Emily Blunt] is enlisted by an elite government task force official [Josh Brolin] to aid in the escalating war against drugs.<\/p>\n

Led by an enigmatic consultant with a questionable past [Benicio Del Toro], the team sets out on a clandestine journey forcing Kate to question everything that she believes in order to survive.<\/p>\n
