\"The<\/a>The Weinstein Co. has released a new trailer for Academy Award winning writer\/director Quentin Tarantino’s <\/strong>latest film The Hateful Eight, <\/strong>which hits theaters on December 25th exclusively in 70mm and then will get a nationwide release on January 8th..<\/p>\n

The Hateful Eight marks a continuation of the long-standing relationship between the celebrated filmmaker and the Weinsteins, who have collaborated on all of Tarantino\u2019s films from Reservoir Dogs through Django Unchained.<\/p>\n

The lead cast for the film will include: Samuel L. Jackson<\/strong> (Django Unchained), Kurt Russell<\/strong> (Escape From New York), Jennifer Jason Leigh<\/strong> (Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle), Walton Goggins<\/strong> (\u201cJustified\u201d), Demian Bichir<\/strong> (A Better Life), Tim Roth<\/strong> (Reservoir Dogs), Michael Madsen<\/strong> (Reservoir Dogs), Bruce Dern<\/strong> (Nebraska) and Channing Tatum<\/strong> (Foxcatcher). Written and directed by Tarantino, The Hateful Eight is produced by Richard N. Gladstein, Stacey Sher<\/strong> and Shannon McIntosh<\/strong>. Harvey Weinstein, Bob Weinstein<\/strong> and Georgia Kacandes<\/strong> are executive producing, and Coco Francini<\/strong> and William Paul Clark<\/strong> are associate producing.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a>Among the supporting cast members are Django Unchained’s Dana Gourrier, Belinda Owino, Keith Jefferson, Craig Stark, Lee Horsley<\/strong>, Zo\u00eb Bell<\/strong>, James Parks<\/strong> and Gene Jones.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In The Hateful Eight, set six or eight or twelve years after the Civil War, a stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape. The passengers, bounty hunter John Ruth (Russell) and his fugitive Daisy Domergue (Leigh), race towards the town of Red Rock where Ruth, known in these parts as \u201cThe Hangman,\u201d will bring Domergue to justice. Along the road, they encounter two strangers: Major Marquis Warren (Jackson), a black former union soldier turned infamous bounty hunter, and Chris Mannix (Goggins), a southern renegade who claims to be the town\u2019s new Sheriff.<\/p>\n

Losing their lead on the blizzard, Ruth, Domergue, Warren and Mannix seek refuge at Minnie\u2019s Haberdashery, a stagecoach stopover on a mountain pass. When they arrive at Minnie\u2019s, they are greeted not by the proprietor but by four unfamiliar faces. Bob (Bichir), who\u2019s taking care of Minnie\u2019s while she\u2019s visiting her mother, is holed up with Oswaldo Mobray (Roth), the hangman of Red Rock, cow-puncher Joe Gage (Madsen), and Confederate General Sanford Smithers (Dern). As the storm overtakes the mountainside stopover, our eight travelers come to learn they may not make it to Red Rock after all\u2026<\/p>\n
