FX has released two clips from the second episode of\u00a0The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story<\/strong>, which airs at 10pm.<\/p>\n

The 10-part series stars\u00a0Cuba Gooding Jr.<\/strong> as O.J. Simpson, John Travolta<\/strong> as defense attorney Robert Shapiro, Courtney B. Vance<\/strong> as Johnnie Cochran, Sarah Paulson<\/strong> as prosecutor Marcia Clark, David Schwimmer<\/strong> as defense attorney Robert Kardashian, and Billy Magnussen<\/strong> as Kato Kaelin.<\/p>\n

American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson is based on the book \u201cThe Run of His Life: The People V. O.J. Simpson<\/strong>\u201d by Jeffrey Toobin, the limited series is a look at the O.J. Simpson trial told from the perspective of the lawyers. It explores the chaotic behind-the-scenes dealings and maneuvering on both sides of the court, and how a combination of prosecution overconfidence, defense shrewdness, and the LAPD\u2019s history with the city\u2019s African-American community gave a jury what it needed: reasonable doubt.<\/p>\n

American Crime Story hails from Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning producer and Emmy Award-winning Director Ryan Murphy (\u201cAmerican Horror Story,\u201d \u201cThe Normal Heart\u201d) will direct the first episode and serve as Executive Producer, along with Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski and Brad Falchuk.<\/p>\n

American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson is written by Golden Globe-winning producers Alexander and Karaszewski (Big Eyes, The People v. Larry Flynt). American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson is produced by Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions.<\/p>\n
