\"The-Magnificent-Seven-Poster-2\"<\/a>Sony Pictures has released\u00a0an international poster\u00a0for director Antoine Fuqua<\/strong>‘s remake of The Magnificent Seven,<\/strong> which hits theaters on September 23, 2016.<\/p>\n

With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard<\/strong>), the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns \u2014 Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington<\/strong>), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt<\/strong>), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke<\/strong>), Jack Horne (Vincent D\u2019Onofrio<\/strong>), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee<\/strong>), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo<\/strong>), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier<\/strong>). As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a>The film is a remake of the 1960 film directed by John Sturges that itself was inspired by Akira Kurosawa\u2019s 1954 classic Seven Samurai. According to Variety<\/a>, the 2016 version of the Magnificent Seven<\/a> is \u201creally about seven men doing what they say they are going to do,\u201d<\/strong> said Chris Pratt, who plays gambler Josh Farraday, one of the first of a group of honorable rogues who joins with Denzel Washington.<\/p>\n

Fuqua, who previously teamed with Washington on \u201cTraining Day\u201d and \u201cThe Equalizer,\u201d said he chose a diverse group of actors because \u201cI wanted it to look like the world we live in today,\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cI wanted guys who would have a great chemistry and a great time doing it together.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The film also stars Haley Bennett, Matt Bomer, Billy Slaughter<\/strong> and Vinnie Jones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
