Last night, Warner Bros. Pictures had the World Premiere\u00a0to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them<\/strong>, held at Alice Tully Hall in New York.<\/p>\n

In attendance were members from the film: Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Ron Perlman, Zo\u00eb Kravitz<\/strong> and Faith Wood-Blagrove<\/strong>; director David Yates<\/strong>; producer David Heyman<\/strong>; screenwriter \/ producer J.K. Rowling<\/strong>; producer Lionel Wigram<\/strong>; executive producer Tim Lewis<\/strong>; and composer James Newton Howard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

An all-new adventure returning us to the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling, the film hits theaters in 3D and IMAX on November 18, 2016.<\/p>\n

Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne<\/strong> (\u201cThe Theory of Everything\u201d) stars in the central role of wizarding world magizoologist Newt Scamander, under the direction of David Yates, who helmed the last four \u201cHarry Potter\u201d blockbusters.<\/p>\n

\u201cFantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them\u201d opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident\u2026were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt\u2019s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.<\/p>\n

\u201cFantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them\u201d also stars Katherine Waterston<\/strong> (\u201cSteve Jobs,\u201d \u201cInherent Vice\u201d) as Tina; Tony Award winner Dan Fogler<\/strong> (\u201cThe 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee\u201d) as Jacob; Alison Sudol<\/strong> (\u201cDig,\u201d \u201cTransparent\u201d) as Tina\u2019s sister, Queenie; Ezra Miller<\/strong> (\u201cTrainwreck\u201d) as Credence; two-time Oscar nominee Samantha Morton<\/strong> (\u201cIn America,\u201d \u201cSweet and Lowdown\u201d) as Mary Lou; Oscar winner Jon Voight<\/strong> (\u201cComing Home,\u201d TV\u2019s \u201cRay Donovan\u201d) as Henry Shaw, Sr.; Ron Perlman<\/strong> (the \u201cHellboy\u201d films) as Gnarlak; Carmen Ejogo<\/strong> (\u201cSelma\u201d) as Seraphina; Jenn Murray<\/strong> (\u201cBrooklyn\u201d) as Chastity; young newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove<\/strong> as Modesty; and Colin Farrell<\/strong> (\u201cTrue Detective\u201d) as Percival Graves.<\/p>\n

The film marks the screenwriting debut of J.K. Rowling, whose beloved Harry Potter books were adapted into the top-grossing film franchise of all time. Her script was inspired by the Hogwarts textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, written by her character Newt Scamander.<\/p>\n
