\nNetflix &\u00a0Marvel have released some new photos\u00a0to Iron Fist, <\/strong>which\u00a0will debut on March 17, 2017 at 12:01am PT in all territories where Netflix is available.<\/p>\n

Led by showrunner and Executive Producer Scott Buck<\/strong>, the cast includes\u00a0cast includes Finn Jones<\/strong> as Danny Rand aka Iron Fist, with Jessica Henwick<\/strong> as Colleen Wing, David Wenham<\/strong> as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup<\/strong> as Joy Meachum, and Tom Pelphrey<\/strong> as Ward Meachum.\u00a0Marvel\u2019s Jessica Jones\u00a0star Carrie-Anne Moss<\/strong> will also reprise her role of lawyer Jeri Hogarth alongside Netflix\u2019s connector between the shows, Rosario Dawson<\/strong> as Claire Temple.<\/p>\n

In the comics Iron Fist is Daniel Rand, who at age of 9 travels with his family to a lost mystical city called K\u2019un-L\u2019un. After some tragic twists of fate, Rand is adopted by city\u2019s ruler and taught advanced martial arts and the mystical power of the Iron Fist. As an adult, Rand returns to his native New York City and begins a career as a superhero.<\/p>\n

For the TV series, Marvel\u2019s Iron Fist follows Danny Rand (Finn Jones), who returns to New York City after being missing for years. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist. The cast also includes Jessica Henwick<\/strong> as Colleen Wing, David Wenham<\/strong> as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup<\/strong> as Joy Meachum, and Tom Pelphrey<\/strong> as Ward Meachum.<\/p>\n

First introduced in the comics in 1974, the Gil Kane and Roy Thomas-created\u00a0<\/em>Iron Fist\u00a0frequently teamed up with Luke Cage in the\u00a0Heroes For Hire<\/em>\u00a0series.<\/p>\n

Iron Fist\u00a0is the fourth of the epic live-action adventure series (Marvel\u2019s Daredevil,\u00a0Marvel\u2019s Jessica Jones\u00a0and\u00a0Marvel\u2019s Luke Cage\u00a0which are now streaming, all leading up to the teaming of the main characters in\u00a0Marvel\u2019s The Defenders) to premiere only on Netflix. The drama will premiere with 13 one-hour episodes.<\/p>\n
