During Star Wars Celebration, EA and Lucasfilm released the trailer to Star Wars Battlefront II<\/strong>, which will be on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 17, 2017.<\/p>\n

Building upon the foundation of groundbreaking visuals and authenticity of EA\u2019s Star Wars Battlefront, DICE, Motive and Criterion are teaming up to deliver one of the most expansive Star Wars games to date. Star Wars Battlefront II will allow players to experience the untold story of Iden, an Imperial elite special forces soldier in an all-new single player campaign set after the end of Return of the Jedi. The story of Star Wars Battlefront II will be canon in the Star Wars universe in epic multiplayer battles. Players will be able to pilot a First Order TIE fighter through intense dogfights in space, and play as ground troopers or iconic heroes and villains, such as Yoda and Darth Maul, across all three Star Wars eras.<\/p>\n

According to IO9<\/a>, Iden Versio, played by Janina Gavankar,<\/strong> is a special forces Imperial soldier who vows revenge on the Rebel Alliance after seeing Death Star II get blown up from the surface of Endor. The character wholly believes in the Empire and, for players, it\u2019ll be a focus they are not used to: the eradication of the Rebellion.<\/p>\n

Iden was raised on Vardos, a brand new planet created for the game that\u2019s kind of an Imperial utopia. There she was raised to totally and fully understand Imperial beliefs. Her team is the best at everything in the Empire: ground battle, flying, sabotage, spying, everything. So when the second Death Star blows up, Iden and her droid sidekick go off on a journey that will take her on a story spanning the time period between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. (It also involves Operation Cinder, which fans will recognize from some of the new canon content) However, in the game, you won\u2019t only play as Iden. She\u2019s the primary \u201chero\u201d but the campaign will also allow you to play as Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren and other stars of the series.<\/p>\n

Fans who pre-order\u00a0Star Wars Battlefront II\u00a0can join the excitement of the theatrical release of\u00a0Star Wars: The Last Jedi, with content inspired by the upcoming film including exclusive Kylo Ren and Rey themed looks. Players can also equip both characters with epic ability upgrades in multiplayer. Additionally, when taking the fight to space, players can upgrade to the\u00a0Star Wars: The Last Jedi\u00a0Millennium Falcon and a new First Order ship<\/p>\n
