WWE Studios and Blumhouse Productions has released\u00a0a few more\u00a0clips to J.D. Dillard<\/strong>‘s directorial debut ‘Sleight,’<\/strong> which premiered this year at the Sundance Film Festival and stars Jacob Latimore<\/strong> (Maze Runner), Dul\u00e9 Hill<\/strong> (Ballers), and Seychelle Gabriel<\/strong> (Falling Skies), along with Storm Reid<\/strong> (the upcoming Ava DuVernay film A Wrinkle in Time), Sasheer Zamata <\/strong>(from Saturday Night Live), and Cameron Esposito<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Written by\u00a0<\/strong>J.D. Dillard and Alex Theurer<\/strong>, ‘Sleight’\u00a0will be released in theaters on April 28, 2017.<\/p>\n

When Bo, a handsome and gifted high school student, suddenly becomes the sole caretaker for his little sister, Tina, he foregoes college to dedicate his talents to the craft of magic. He wows audiences as a street magician but still has to make ends meet, so he cleverly uses his skills to peddle drugs for the local dealer, Angelo. However when Bo falls for Holly, an adorable teenager in need of support, he decides to get out of the drug business, causing Angelo to threaten his family. Bo must now rely on his sleight of hand and brilliant mind to save the day.<\/p>\n

The action drama\u00a0was\u00a0produced by Diablo Entertainment’s Eric B. Fleischman, formerly of Blumhouse, Sean Tabibian and Alex Theurer.<\/p>\n
