\"\"<\/a>Codeblack has released some new posters\u00a0for\u00a0the Tupac Shakur biopic “All Eyez On Me,”<\/strong>\u00a0starring\u00a0Demetrius Shipp, Jr.<\/strong>\u00a0as Tupac.<\/p>\n

The studio will release the film on June 16 \u2014 the day that would have marked Shakur\u2019s 46th birthday. All Eyez On Me<\/b> will also be the Closing Night film at the American Black Film Festival on June 17.<\/p>\n

Directed by Benny Boom<\/strong>, the film centers on the life and legacy of Shakur, including his rise to superstardom as a hip-hop artist and actor, his imprisonment and his time at Death Row Records. Shakur sold more than 75 million records worldwide, with his fourth studio album, 1996’s All Eyez on Me, <\/em>selling more than 10 million copies. Shakur, who was killed in Las Vegas at the age of 25, will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.<\/p>\n

\nAlso featured in the film are\u00a0The Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira<\/strong>, who plays Tupac’s mom, Afeni Shakur <\/strong>and\u00a0Jamie Hector<\/strong>\u00a0as Mutulu Shakur.\u00a0Lauren Cohan<\/strong>\u00a0plays Leila Steinberg, who met Shakur in 1988 when he was 17 and became his first manager.\u00a0Kat Graham<\/strong>, who is on CW\u2019s \u201cThe Vampire,”<\/strong>\u00a0as\u00a0Jada Pinkett Smith<\/strong>. Smith and Shakur were high school classmates at the Baltimore School for the Arts and remained friends before his 1996 murder. Annie Ilonzeh <\/strong>will play the late rapper’s fianc\u00e9e Kidada Jones,<\/strong> daughter of Quincy Jones.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jamal Woolard <\/strong>is\u00a0<\/strong>reprising his role as the Notorious B.I.G.<\/strong> from the 2009 Biggie movie, Notorious. Grace Gibson, daughter of actress Lynn Whifield, will play Faith Evans.\u00a0Dominic L. Santana<\/strong> as Suge Knight<\/strong>, and Stefon Washington<\/strong> as Puff Daddy.\u00a0<\/strong>Cory Hardrict <\/strong>is\u00a0Hatian Jack <\/strong>and Jamie Hector <\/strong>will play\u00a0Tupac Shakur’s <\/strong>stepfather Mutulu Shakur.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The film is produced by Morgan Creek\u2019s James G. Robinson and David Robinson<\/strong>, along with Program Pictures\u2019 LT Hutton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The runtime is\u00a0140 minutes.<\/p>\n
