A previous draft was written by \u201cWestworld\u201d co-creator <strong>Lisa Joy<\/strong>. <strong>Matt Tolmach and Amy Pascal<\/strong> are producing the project.<\/p>\n<p>In the comic books, Silver Sable is a mercenary who hunts war criminals, and who is some times friend and sometimes foe to Spider-Man. She was created in 1985 by Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz, and heads the Wild Pack, an organization of other mercenaries based in the small (fictional) European state of Symkaria.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Silver-Sable-and-Black-Cat.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-99197\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 200'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Silver-Sable-and-Black-Cat-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Black Cat is a world-famous cat burglar\u00a0named Felicia Hardy, who briefly appeared in \u201cThe Amazing Spider-Man 2,\u201d played by Felicity Jones. After suffering a traumatic event as a teen, she trained herself in various martial arts and acrobatics and decided to follow in her father\u2019s cat burglar-y footsteps. She has limited superpowers, a very cool enhanced suit, and a somewhat romantic history with Spidey.<\/p>\n<p>While both characters exist in Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man universe, the Yost-penned film will not be a crossover with the web-slinger.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Palak Patel<\/strong> and Eric Fineman overseeing for Columbia Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>Prince-Bythewood is known as the writer and director of the beloved 2000 film <strong>\u201cLove &amp; Basketball\u201d<\/strong> starring Sanaa Lathan and Omar Epps.
