During the Television Critics Association (TCA) Summer 2017 Press Tour, Crackle released the season two trailer and key art for the network’s original drama series, “StartUp”<\/strong> returning with all 10-episodes on Thursday, September 28th.<\/p>\n

In addition, the free, AVOD service shared plans to release an interactive and immersive virtual reality experience based on the series to debut on PlayStationR VR and other platforms later fall.<\/p>\n

The second season of \u201cStartUp,\u201d picks up on the streets of Miami following the takeover of GenCoin, an unregulated global cryptocurrency. With their startup now in the hands of the Russian Mob, our unlikely trio, Izzy Morales, Ronald Dacey, and Nick Talman, reinvest in their partnership and launch an exciting new endeavor, a darknet prototype called ArakNet.\u00a0 But as their decentralized network begins to grow, so too does the peril, the corruption, and the moral turpitude. As our heroes attempt to stay alive long enough to triumph, the sophomore season of \u201cStartUp\u201d poses the all-important question, what is the cost of ambition, and reveals the frightening lengths one might go to achieve ultimate success.<\/p>\n

Returning in season two are series\u2019 stars Adam Brody<\/strong> (\u201cCHiPS,\u201d \u201cThe League\u201d) also producer, Martin Freeman<\/strong> (\u201cFargo,\u201d \u201cSherlock\u201d), Edi Gathegi<\/strong> (\u201cThe Blacklist,\u201d \u201cThe Blacklist: Redemption\u201d) and Otmara Marrero<\/strong> (\u201cGraceland\u201d).\u00a0 In addition, Ron Perlman<\/strong> (Hellboy, \u201cSons of Anarchy\u201d) also a producer, joins the sophomore season as Wes Chandler, a multi-millionaire businessman with a level-headed grit, and Addison Timlin<\/strong> (\u201cCalifornication\u201d) will portray Perlman\u2019s daughter Mara.<\/p>\n

\u201cStartUp\u201d is produced by Critical Content and Hollywood Gang Productions. Tom Forman, Andrew Marcus, Ray Ricord, Gianni Nunnari, Shannon Gaulding and Anne Clements (\u201cThe Oath\u201d) all serve as executive producers. The series is created and written by Ben Ketai (\u201cChosen,\u201d THE FOREST) who also serves as executive producer and director. Adam Brody and Ron Perlman serve as producers.<\/p>\n
