Focus Features has released a new trailer for 7 Days in Entebbe<\/strong>, starring Daniel Br\u00fchl, Rosamund Pike, Eddie Marsan, Ben Schnetzer, Lior Ashkenazi<\/strong>, and Denis M\u00e9nochet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Directed by Jos\u00e9 Padilha<\/strong> from a script written by Gregory Burke<\/strong>, 7 Days in Entebbe is based on the true story of four hijackers in 1976 who took over a plane flying from Tel Aviv to Paris, and forced it to land in Entebbe, Uganda. Their demand was to have dozens of Palestinian terrorists released.<\/p>\n

In the real-life event, two Palestinian and two German hijackers took a plane hostage and directed it to Entebbe, Uganda. The film will follow the hijackers, the hostages, then-Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabiin and upcoming Prime Minister Shimon Peres dealing with whether or not to try to free the hostages or to negotiate. It will also follow the French crew who refused to leave when they were released with the other French hostages.<\/p>\n

Working Title\u2019s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner is producing alongside Kate Solomon. Jos\u00e9 Padilha is known for directing 2014\u2019s RoboCop, episodes of the TV series Narcos, and Elite Squad: The Enemy Within.<\/p>\n

7 Days in Entebbe will be released on March 16, 2018.<\/p>\n
