Marking the second feature from woman filmmaker <strong>C. Fitz<\/strong>, the documentary explores the legacy of America\u2019s oldest Black-owned disco club as well asthe life of businesswoman and activist, Jewel Thais-Williams, who provided safe spaces for LGBTQ, Black and AIDS impacted communities in Los Angeles for four decades.ARRAY has acquired worldwide distribution rights andwill debut JEWEL\u2019S CATCH ONE on May1 with a national screening tour and simultaneous release on Netflix.The announcement was made by ARRAY Founder <strong>Ava DuVernay<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Fitz\u2019s JEWEL\u2019S CATCH ONE is an electric and melodic journey highlighted by exclusive interviews with Sharon Stone, Thelma Houston, Evelyn &#8220;Champagne&#8221; King, Madonna, Sandra Bernhard, Thea Austin, Jenifer Lewis, Representative Maxine Waters and Bonnie Pointer.
