Walt Disney and Lucasfilm released a new TV spot and featurette for\u00a0Solo: A Star Wars Story<\/strong> featuring all of the main characters.<\/p>\n

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in \u201cSolo: A Star Wars Story,\u201d an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga\u2019s most unlikely heroes.<\/p>\n

Ron Howard<\/b> is directing\u00a0<\/b>the movie, with a cast that includes Alden Ehrenreich<\/strong> as Han Solo, Woody Harrelson, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke, <\/strong>Thandie Newton<\/strong>, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge<\/strong>, with Joonas Suotamo<\/strong> as Chewbacca.<\/p>\n

Written by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan<\/strong>, it will be produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur, Simon Emanuel<\/strong> and co-produced by Kiri Hart, Susan Towner<\/strong> and Will Allegra. Lawrence Kasdan<\/strong> and Jason McGatlin<\/strong> will executive produce.<\/p>\n

Crewing the ship will be some of the industry\u2019s top talent, including Academy Award nominee for his work on \u201cArrival,\u201d Bradford Young<\/strong> (Director of Photography), Chris Dickens<\/strong> (Editor), Dominic Tuohy<\/strong> (SFX Supervisor), Rob Bredow<\/strong> (VFX Supervisor) and Brad Allan<\/strong> (Action Designer).<\/p>\n

They will be joining returning Star Wars veteran crew members Neal Scanlan<\/strong> (Creature & Droid FX Creative Supervisor), Neil Lamont<\/strong> (Production Designer), Dave Crossman and Glyn Dillon<\/strong> (Co-Costume Designers), Jamie Wilkinson<\/strong> (Prop Master), Lisa Tomblin<\/strong> (Hair), Amanda Knight<\/strong> (Make-Up) and Nina Gold<\/strong> (UK Casting Director).<\/p>\n

Solo: A Star Wars Story is slated for release on May 25, 2018.<\/p>\n
