Netflix\u00a0has released the official trailer and key art to season two of Netflix\u2019s hit series \u201cMarvel’s Luke Cage\u201d<\/strong> which\u00a0will return with all-new episodes on June 22.<\/p>\n

After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can\u2019t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.<\/p>\n

Luke Cage is executive produced by Cheo Hodari Coker<\/strong> (Ray Donovan, Southland) and A\u00efda Croal<\/strong> (The Returned, True Blood) as co-executive producer, along with Jeph Loeb<\/strong> (Marvel\u2019s Punisher, Marvel\u2019s Inhumans), and Jim Chory<\/strong> (Marvel\u2019s Punisher, Marvel\u2019s Inhumans).<\/p>\n

Mike Colter<\/strong> returns as the titular Luke Cage, with Simone Missick<\/strong> as Misty Knight, Rosario Dawson<\/strong> as Claire Temple, Alfre Woodard<\/strong> as Mariah Dillard, Theo Rossi<\/strong> as Shades and Finn Jones<\/strong> as Danny Rand aka Iron Fist.<\/p>\n

Newcomers to the series so far include Mustafa Shakir<\/strong> (The Deuce, The Night Of) as John McIver aka Bushmaster, a natural leader, brimming with charisma, whose mission is focused on Harlem and vengeance; and Gabrielle Dennis<\/strong> (Insecure, Rosewood) as Tilda Johnson, a brilliant, holistic doctor with a complicated history in Harlem where, as much as she tries to stay far from trouble, it seems to always find her.<\/p>\n

Annabella Sciorra<\/strong> (The Sopranos) will play Rosalie Carbone, described as a dangerous downtown criminal underworld power player with an eye, and an agenda, toward Harlem.\u00a0Antonique Smith<\/strong> will be playing the role of Detective Nandi Tyler<\/strong>, a new character to the Marvel family.\u00a0Nandi and Misty Night\u2019s relationship runs deep and began when they were in high school. Time has done little to lessen their animosity towards each other and the tensions only intensify when Nandi takes over Misty\u2019s position after her hand is cut off (during the Defenders series).<\/p>\n
