Dana Walden<\/strong> and Gary Newman<\/strong>, Chairmen and CEOs, Fox Television Group, today unveils the FOX primetime slate for the 2018-2019 television season to the national advertising community during its annual Programming Presentation at the Beacon Theatre.<\/p>\n

The new comedies joining the lineup this fall are REL<\/strong> and THE COOL KIDS<\/strong>. Inspired by the life of Lil Rel Howery<\/strong> (\u201cGet Out,\u201d \u201cInsecure,\u201d \u201cThe Carmichael Show\u201d), REL is a multi-camera comedy starring Howery as a loving husband and father living in Chicago, who finds out his wife is having an affair, and must rebuild his life as a single father, following his divorce. The comedy also stars Sinbad (\u201cA Different World,\u201d \u201cThe Sinbad Show,\u201d \u201cJingle All The Way\u201d), Jess \u201cHilarious\u201d Moore (\u201cWild \u2019N Out\u201d) and Jordan L. Jones (\u201cNCIS: Los Angeles,\u201d \u201cWisdom of the Crowd\u201d).<\/p>\n

From executive producer Charlie Day (\u201cIt\u2019s Always Sunny in Philadelphia\u201d), THE COOL KIDS is a multi-camera comedy about a rag-tag group of friends living in a retirement community who are willing to break every rule in order to have fun \u2013 because, at their age, what do they really have to lose? The series stars four comedy veterans: Tony Award nominee David Alan Grier (\u201cThe Carmichael Show,\u201d \u201cIn Living Color\u201d), Emmy Award nominee Martin Mull (\u201cVeep,\u201d \u201cRoseanne\u201d), Emmy Award winner Leslie Jordan (\u201cWill and Grace,\u201d \u201cAmerican Horror Story\u201d) and Emmy Award winner Vicki Lawrence (\u201cMama\u2019s Family,\u201d \u201cThe Carol Burnett Show\u201d).<\/p>\n

Also this fall, hit comedy LAST MAN STANDING joins the FOX lineup. The series also stars Nancy Travis, Jonathan Adams, Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders and Jordan Masterson. LAST MAN STANDING and THE COOL KIDS will anchor a brand-new Friday night comedy block.<\/p>\n

In its 25th season of NFL coverage, the new THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL PREGAME SHOW will be FOX Sports\u2019 first New York City-based live NFL studio show, complementing FOX NFL SUNDAY, the No. 1 NFL pregame show for the last 24 seasons and the network\u2019s signature program, of which Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long have been an integral part since its inception in 1994. The new THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL PREGAME SHOW will be produced by Executive Vice President of Production, Bill Richards, who also oversees FOX NFL KICKOFF and FOX NFL SUNDAY.<\/p>\n

Also this fall, 9-1-1, the network\u2019s No. 1 scripted series, returns on a new night and time, Mondays at 9:00-10:00 PM ET\/PT.<\/p>\n
