Additionally, actor and director Kevin Connolly will guest star and direct multiple episodes for the gritty drama series. Production for season two of \u201cThe Oath\u201d has commenced in San Juan, Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Oath\u201d explores a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend and sheds light on corrupt and secret societies that are nearly impossible to join. Only a select few make the cut\u2014but once inside, members will do what they must to protect each other from enemies on the outside and from within their own ranks. Season two of the action-packed drama finds the Ravens trying to free themselves from their debt to the cartel. The season will examine themes of family and redemption, giving the characters a chance to reclaim their lives as their own, pushing them to find a new path and attempting to conquer their inner demons \u2013 all while trying to protect their own lives in the process.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/The-Oath-poster.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-104713\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 200 300'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/The-Oath-poster-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Christina Milian joins as series regular Christine Parks, a second-generation Raven (her father was one of the gang&#8217;s original founders) and Kraley&#8217;s partner. She grew up admiring her dad and wants to follow in his footsteps. Milian is represented by WME, Link Entertainment, Milian Management, and Stone, Genow, Smelkinson, Binder &amp; Christopher.<\/p>\n<p>Leona Lewis recurs as Amber Hall, daughter of Pastor Greg, who grew up surrounded by the violence in her neighborhood. Presently, she works as a doctor at the local hospital, doing what she can for those in the community that look up to both her and her father. Leona is represented by CAA.<\/p>\n<p>Zulay Henao recurs as Carmen Velasquez, the older sister of Ricardo and daughter of Ignacio who, after living most of her life surrounded by violence, is trying to move the family toward a legitimate business. Zulay is represented by Gladys Gonzalez of John Carrabino Management, APA and attorney Rick Genow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kevin Connolly<\/strong> guest stars as James Hoke, a former radio car partner to Karen Beach (Katrina Law), who now works in Internal Affairs, and brings some troubling news to her and the Ravens\u2019 attention.<\/p>\n<p>Christina Milian, Leona Lewis, Zulay Henao and Kevin Connolly join the returning ensemble cast featuring Ryan Kwanten (\u201cTrue Blood\u201d) also a producer, Cory Hardrict (\u201cThe Outpost,\u201d American Sniper,\u201d), Katrina Law (\u201cSacred Lies, \u201cTraining Day\u201d), and J.J. Soria (\u201cAnimal Kingdom,\u201d \u201cThe Fosters\u201d).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/The-Oath-poster-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignleft size-medium wp-image-105892\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 200 300'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/The-Oath-poster-2-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also returning for season two are: Elisabeth R\u00f6hm (\u201cLaw &amp; Order,\u201d \u201cThe Last Ship\u201d) as Agent Aria Price, Michael Malarkey (\u201cThe Vampire Diaries\u201d) as Foster, Isaac Keys (\u201cGet Shorty\u201d) as G, Andrew Howard (\u201cThe Outpost,\u201d \u201cHell on Wheels)\u201d as Kraley, Kim Delaney (\u201cChicago Fire\u201d) as Abigail Beach, LaToya Tonodeo (\u201cThe Fosters\u201d) as Tara Byrd, and Braulio Castillo as cartel lawyer Victor Moreno and father to Lourdes, who is portrayed by Isabel Arraiza (\u201cDriven\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Kevin Connolly will direct multiple episodes along with <strong>Jeff T. Thomas<\/strong> (\u201cBlindspot,\u201d \u201cWayward Pines\u201d), who directed the pilot and Scott Mann (\u201cHeist\u201d). This is Connolly\u2019s second collaboration with Sony Crackle. Most recently, he directed episodes of the original series \u201cSnatch,\u201d which will return to the streaming network for a second season in September 2018. Connolly is represented by UTA and 3 Arts.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, production on \u201cThe Oath\u201d was halted by hurricanes Irma and Maria, but was able to return to the island in the fall to complete filming on season one. Sony Crackle has a long history of shooting in Puerto Rico starting in 2013 with the original series \u201cCleaners,\u201d continuing with three seasons of their techno-infused thriller \u201cStartUp\u201d and most recently, \u201cThe Oath.\u201d The network continues to contribute to Puerto Rico\u2019s economic recovery by creating job opportunities for the island\u2019s film community.<\/p>\n<p>Created by Joe Halpin (\u201cHawaii Five-O,\u201d \u201cSecrets and Lies\u201d), a Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s Department deputy in South Central for 17 years, 12 of which as an undercover officer, the series takes \u200ean unforgiving look at the complicated dynamics in these organizations and documents the lives of those willing to risk it all, to have it all. \u201cThe Oath\u201d is executive produced by Curtis \u201c50 Cent\u201d Jackson and his G-Unit Film &amp; Television Inc., Dennis Kim, Todd Hoffman, Anne Clements, and Joe Halpin who is also creator, writer and showrunner. Ryan Kwanten and Frances Lausell return as producers along with co-executive producer Jeff T.
