Deadline is reporting that Yadira Guevara-Prip & Nesta Cooper have been added to the cast of Apple’s original drama series See, joining Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard.
Written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and directed by Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2), See is a high concept, eight-episode, sci-fi series takes place in a future where humanity has lost the ability to perceive the world with sight. The survivors have learned how to rely on their other senses to get by, but the birth of twins with sight will throw the new society into chaos. Momoa will star in a lead role as Baba Voss, a fearless warrior, leader, and guardian, with Woodard playing Paris, an advisor and priestess.
According to the report, Guevara-Prip will portray a young warrior named Bow Lion, while Cooper will play Haniwa, “a proud and determined young daughter.”
Knight and Lawrence will executive produce See alongside Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kristen Campo for Chernin Entertainment/Endeavor Content.
Guevara-Prip recurs on the CW’s Supernatural and was cast as a series regular on the spinoff pilot Wayward Sisters. Other TV credits include a recurring role on Amazon’s Mad Dogs.
Cooper plays Carly Shannon on the Netflix series Travelers and starred in the feature #Realityhigh also from Netflix.
