In a rare interview, blackfilm.com correspondent Koku Tona sat down with Suif “C-Gutta” Jackson, a long time friend and family member of the late Christopher “Biggie Smalls” Wallace featured in “Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell”.

C-Gutta, a member of the Junior Mafia crew (Lil’ Cease, Lil’ Kim), talks about how he was first introduced to Biggie, his childhood in Mississippi, the return to Brooklyn, and his own evolution through the years.

He offers an intimate glimpse into what it was like to know who Biggie really was, and the significance of not only losing a loved one–but a loved one who meant so much to the world. He goes on to speak very highly of Biggie’s mother, Ms. Wallace, who took him in when he lost his mother.

C-Gutta serves as a mentor and owns a clothing line, Balogun, which is his given name, and means “War Head or Father at War” in Yoruba.
