Tasha is currently promoting the highly anticipated second season of Survival of the Thickest, premiering March 27 on Netflix, as well as her latest film, Desire: A Temptation Story, premiering April 19 on Lifetime. The film co-stars Adrian Holmes (Bel-Air), and in addition to starring in it, Tasha also serves as an executive producer.

She reprises her role as Marley—a confident, successful Black woman in finance who fights to maintain her standing in the corporate world while fiercely supporting her best friend, Mavis. This season, Marley remains Mavis’ rock but begins to explore a new romantic trajectory of her own. Tasha brings depth, humor, and authenticity to the role, further elevating the critically acclaimed series. Survival of the Thickest Season 2 premieres March 27, 2025, on Netflix.

Desire: A Temptation Story:
Lifetime expands its hit movie slate with Temptations, a new franchise from the executive producers of Seven Deadly Sins. The first installment, Desire: A Temptation Story, premieres Saturday, April 19 at 8/7c and stars actress/director Tasha Smith alongside Adrian Holmes (Bel-Air). Smith also serves as executive producer and leads the film as Kendra—a high-profile talk show host seeking solace after the sudden loss of her mother. What begins as a peaceful getaway turns into a passionate whirlwind romance when she meets Malcolm (Holmes), a charming stranger. After an impulsive marriage, Kendra quickly discovers that surrendering to her desires may come at a dangerous cost.


Following the success of the Seven Deadly Sins movie franchise, Lifetime announces the all-new Temptations movie franchise from Derrick Williams and Adriane HopperWilliams, executive producers for DNA Media Group.
