‘F9: The Fast Saga’: Cardi B Added to The Fold; Gets New Trailer

Global movie franchise, Fast & Furious, is back on the streets for its latest installment –F9: The Fast Saga. Justin Lin is back as director of F9, who also directed the third, fourth, fifth and sixth chapters of the series. Originally set for a May 22 debut, fans of the film will have to pump the brakes until the June 25 theater release. F9: The Fast Saga Cardi B

The franchise is adding a new member to the family in F9 by featuring Grammy-winning superstar Cardi B. She will be playing the character Leysa, a woman with a connection to Dom’s past. The film also features a cameo by Reggaeton sensation Ozuna. Returning cast members are; Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster and Sung Kang, with Oscar winner Helen Mirren, with Kurt Russell and Oscar winner Charlize Theron.   

In F9, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and his son, little Brian, but are aware that danger always lurks just over the peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena).
