Keke Palmer has been added to the cast of director/screenwriter Beth Schacter‘s indie film, ‘A Virgin Mary,’ joining Abigail Breslin.

Variety stated that the comedy centers on Breslin playing a teenager who vows to have sex with her best male friend if they’re still virgins by the time they turn 18.

Also featured in the film are Carter Jenkins (Valentine’s Day) and Daryl Sabara of the ‘Spy Kids’ films.

Palmer, known for her in ‘Akeelah and the Bee‘ and recently starred as the title character in the Nickelodeon sitcom ‘True Jackson, VP.’

Filming is scheduled to start early next year.
