Early this afternoon, members of the press got a look at 20th Century Fox’s The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty which is directed by and stars Ben Stiller.
The film makes its World Premiere tonight at the 51st New York Film Festival before hitting theaters on December 25, 2013.
Co-starring Kristen Wiig, Shirley MacLaine, Adam Scott, Kathryn Hahn, and Sean Penn, the film is based on James Thurber‘s classic story of a day-dreamer who escapes his anonymous life by disappearing into a world of fantasies filled with heroism, romance and action. When his job along with that of his co-worker (Kristen Wiig) are threatened, Walter takes action in the real world embarking on a global journey that turns into an adventure more extraordinary than anything he could have ever imagined.
Following the screening, Stiller, Wiig, screenwriter Steve Conrad, producers Stuart Cornfeld and John Goldwyn, along with production designer Jeff Mann participated in the press conference. Here are some highlights.
