Coming out this week is the eagerly anticipated film, The Best Man Holiday, directed by Malcolm D. Lee.
After nearly 15 years apart, Morris Chestnut, Taye Diggs, Regina Hall, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, Harold Perrineau, Monica Calhoun and Melissa De Sousa reprise their career-launching roles in The Best Man Holiday, the long-awaited next chapter to the film that ushered in a new era of comedy. When the college friends finally reunite over the Christmas holidays, they will discover just how easy it is for long-forgotten rivalries and romances to be ignited.
For Terrence Howard and Melissa De Sousa, a lot has happened to careers since since the original came in 1999. Howard went on do numerous films and be Oscar nominated for John Singleton’s Hustle and Flow. In 2013, he’s appeared in Dead Man Down, Lee Daniels’ The Butler, and Prisoners. De Sousa has appeared in TV series, including BET’s Reed Between The Lines.
Recently, both Howard and De Sousa sat down with Blackfilm.com as they discussed reprising their roles in The Best Man Holiday.
