This morning, Blackfilm.com had the opportunity to attend Universal Partnerships & Licensing’s highly anticipated new licensed products inspired by Jurassic World & Minions.
In addition to seeing and learning more about the various product lines, we also had the opportunity the opportunity to see the films’ latest 3D trailers and create some unique film-themed souvenirs. While the trailer were previous shown already online, it was still cool to experience the showing wearing the 3D glasses in advance of seeing the film later in the summer.
Coming out in 3D, 2D and IMAX theaters on June 12, 2015, Jurassic World is a sci-fi terror adventure set 22 years after the horrific events of the original Jurassic Park.
Starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus and Andy Buckley, the story picks up 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park, and is set in a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, called Jurassic World. After many years, Jurassic World’s attendance rates begin to decline and a new attraction, created to re-spark visitor interest, gravely backfires.
Hitting theaters on July 10, 2015, Minions is the spinoff film from the Dispicable Me franchise. Minions Stuart, Kevin and Bob are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.
The film features the voices of Sandra Bullock, Steve Carell, Jon Hamm, Hiroyuki Sanada, Katy Mixon, Pierre Coffin, Chris Renaud, and Ramona Gilmour-Darling.
