Exclusive Photo At Eriq La Salle & Hugh Jackman In ‘Logan’Posted by Wilson Morales

Blackfilm.com has been provided with a exclusive photo of Eriq La Salle and Hugh Jackman in director James Mangold’s upcoming film ‘Logan,’ starring Hugh Jackman in his final turn as the character. Jackman has played the role nine times on the big screen.
This is the third Wolverine film following 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine and 2013’s The Wolverine.
Directed by James Mangold (The Wolverine) from a script by David James Kelly, the film also stars Sienna Novikov, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Patrick Stewart. Stewart is reprising his role as Charles Xavier/ Professor X.
Set in the near future, the film follows a weary Logan (Jackman) as he cares for an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart) in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant named Laura arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
Holbrook plays Donald Pierce, the villainous leader of The Reavers. Merchant plays Caliban, a mutant who helps Logan with taking care of Charles Xavier.
Without revealing any more details, La Salle and Neal plays husband and wife Will and Kathryn Munson.
La Salle is best known for his portrayal of Dr. Peter Benton on NBC’s medical drama ER. he most recently recurred on CBS’ A Gifted Man, The Widow Man, and has also been directing episodes of TV shows such as CSI: Cyber, Madame Secretary, Crisis, Battle Creek and Night Shift.
Logan is coming to theaters on March 3, 2017.
