Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer and art for upcoming film A Quiet Place: Day One starring Lupita Nyong’o. The prequel, to A Quiet Place released in 2018 and A Quiet Place Part II released in 2020, takes us back in time to “Experience the day the world went quiet.”
In this heart stopping trailer, we follow Sam (Lupita Nyong’o) who is out on a stroll with her white cat in tow right as all hell breaks loose. Alien creators fall from the sky and panicked citizens are swept away after screaming for help.
Wide eyed with fear, Sam escapes death as she quietly hides underneath a parked car. In a dramatic shift of scene, we silently watch as dust settles around her unconscious body. Sam wakes choking on thick air but is quickly silenced by a stranger (Djimon Hounsou). Alien creators claw at the dilapidated shelter that is barely keeping them alive.
Terrifyingly action packed is the only way to describe this sneak peek into what’s to come!
