Amazon’s ‘Fairfax’ Celebrates Premier With ‘Latrine Store’ Pop-Up

Last night, the Amazon Prime original comedy series from Hypebeast, Fairfax, celebrated its launch with a full rollout of an exciting VIP Preview of the “Latrine Store” pop-up (based on Latrine, the streetwear brand created in the series) on the stores namesake street – Fairfax Ave. – in Los Angeles, CA. 

The cast, creators, and special guests of the Amazon Original Series were all in attendance including Zoey Deutch, Camila Mendes, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jaboukie Young-White, Kiersey Clemons, Skyler Gisondo, Peter Kim, Jeff Bottoms, Creators Matthew Hausfater, Aaron Buchsbaum, and Teddy Riley, Timothy Simons, Jimmy Tatro, Colton Dunn, Michaela Dietz and Linda Park.

Fairfax stars Skyler Gisondo, Kiersey Clemons, Peter S. Kim, and Jaboukie Young-White as four middle school best friends on their never-ending quest for clout on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles—the pulsing heart of hypebeast culture. Fairfax is about the timeless struggle to be cooler than you are and fit in while standing out, and what it feels like to wait in line for a pair of sneakers you’re never going to cop. All eight episodes premiere on October 29, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.  

The guest cast of Fairfax includes Pamela Adlon, Jeff Bottoms, Yvette Nicole Brown, Rob Delaney, Zoey Deutch, Colton Dunn, John Leguizamo, Camila Mendes, Larry Owens, Linda Park, Billy Porter, Ben Schwartz, Tim Simons, and JB Smoove, among others. 

The series is created and executive produced by longtime friends Matthew Hausfater, Aaron Buchsbaum, and Teddy Riley. Additional executive producers include Jon Zimelis and Jason U. Nadlerfor Serious Business (@midnight); Peter A. Knight (Bojack Horseman); and Chris Prynoski, Ben Kalina, and Antonio Cannobio for Titmouse (Big Mouth). The artist Somehoodlum, who designed the characters for the series, serves as a consulting producer alongside the pop/internet culture clothing and media brand Pizzaslime.
